My name is Chantal Chaaban and I am a Syrian-American born and raised in San Diego, California. I graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I have spent most of my career working with children, teens, and adults who have Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have experience in Autism and brain research as well. I have a passion for changing how the world views and works with people who grow up with neurodevelopmental disabilities, especially when it comes to accommodating cultural and socioeconomic differences. I plan to get my master’s degree in Occupational Therapy soon and hope to one day work with NGOs around the world and open my own clinics to spread awareness about different disabilities and the therapies available.
